When we started our journey, Rock Rabbit faced a pressing challenge that went even beyond the product — they had a tight timeline of 2 months to prepare for crucial demos with major utility companies and VCs to secure funding and build partnerships.In collaboration with the founders, we designed and tested a visually stunning, highly functional mobile app from the ground up that helped them secure $3.1M in seed funding.
With investor and strategic partner calls lined up, Rock Rabbit had an aggressive timeline to meet. To achieve this, we customized our design process by following some key principles — prioritizing learning, and testing & iterating as much as possible.
With each feature, we identified critical user flows, defined requirements, and designed pixel perfect prototypes to put in front of users and hand off to the engineering team.

Because we were moving at such a fast pace, one of our biggest focuses was ensuring that we weren’t compromising on quality and user experience. To address this, we conducted thorough usability testing with contractors and iterated on their feedback, ensuring that the designs we launched with were intuitive and effective.
And lastly, we made time to future-proof our work, eliminating the risk of taking shortcuts and creating design debt. We invested time in creating a library of scalable, reusable components, designed to serve the company both immediately and years down the line, and significantly enhancing design and development efficiency. As a result of this effort, Rock Rabbit was able to hire and onboard two full-time designers and ramp them up within their first week.
